The thermal spa in Podhájska is known worldwide for the unusual composition of its water, which is comparable to that of the Dead Sea. It is open all year apart from summer and winter maintenance. The water is valued by people with musculoskeletal complaints and especially by those with respiratory conditions and skin eczema. At a depth of 1900 metres the thermal water reaches 83 °C and contains 6.7 grams of cations and 11 grams of anions per litre.

Podhájska lies in south-western Slovakia, in the Nitra region and the Nové Zámky district. Its neighbouring villages are Veľké Lovce, Radava, Trávnica and Pozba. The village has several restaurants and pubs, a pizzeria, an open-air cinema and a sports complex, and is reachable by both road and rail. We would be glad to host your holiday in Podhájska.
